Our Objectives

To promote self-reliance, education and well being of orphaned and vulnerable children,women and youth in the informal settlements.

To provide food, and education for orphaned and vulnerable children.

To offer counseling to specific interests (HBC etc.),medication & referral, food & nutrition support

To create an environment where youth and the community at large understand the importance of proper nutrition and good health through home based care programs and feeding program.

Educating the Needy Children:

We are committed to assisting underprivileged children access basic education. Shilo Community Centre believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty or community empowerment there’s no better place to start than in the corridors of education.

School Feeding Programs:

This initiative gives the children in our program an opportunity to both learn, and be nourished, in a way they have never before experienced in their lives. Without early intervention of nutrition, the future of these students will be tarnished by their inadequate educational foundation due to the stress of hunger and the malnutrition which they suffer.

Rehabilitation of street children.

Our primary commitment is to give these street children love, dignity, and hope to reclaim and restore their well-being to rediscover their talent and potential for a productive future.
